Private Surf Lessons
A Private Surf Lesson can be booked 7 days a week. Booking a Private Surf Lesson allows you to get personalized instruction if you are a beginner and perfect a specific skill set if you’re a more seasoned surfer.
Ages
Age 4 & Up. All skill levels are welcome. All participants should know how to swim.
Equipment Included
All you need to surf, including a wetsuit and surfboard are provided with your lesson.
What to Bring
Come in a bathing suit and bring a towel & sunscreen. We recommend bringing a light snack and a drink. You are free to bring your own board and wetsuit

Please arrive on the beach 15 minutes before the start. Advanced registration is required you cannot show up on the beach to take a class

1-Hour Ocean Awareness Swim/Bodyboard/Surf Private Lesson
This is a new offering for the 2023 Season. We will hold a Private one-on-one lesson for students who want to learn more about the ocean’s tides, rip currents & what that means for swimming/surfing in this ever-changing environment. This is great for kids or non-ocean swimmers to practice swimming in the ocean for the first time and learn some ocean essentials. We’ll talk about ocean safety and then go in the ocean for either a swim, bodysurf, bodyboard or surfing lesson. A rashguard/wetsuit will be provided and a board for those wishing to surf. A life jacket can also be provided. Let us know beforehand if you’ll be requiring a life jacket!

Private Group Surfing Classes
If you’d like to schedule a Private group surfing class, we offer this option everyday for groups of 4 or more participants. We can host groups of up to 20 people. Surfboards & wetsuits will be provided for all participants. The price per surfer will be $79 (1-hour class) or $115 (2-hour class). For very large groups the price per surfer will be less. Call or text us at (347) 957-5188 to check availabilty and the best time to come for ideal surf conditions. A deposit of $79 is required to reserve a time for a private class. You can pay the deposit below and let us know what day/time works best for your group!
CLASS DETAILS
Private lessons are a 1:1 student/teacher ratio. It’s a personalized lesson tailored to your specific goals and current skills. Whether you’re a total beginner or experienced surfer, t’s great to have a coach with you in the water to help your surfing progress to the next level.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Participants can reschedule or cancel their class/lesson for any reason. You must let us know 72-hours in advance if you need to reschedule/cancel. Last-minute cancellations will not be eligible for a refund. Classes/Lessons will be rescheduled if there is inclement weather. Surfing classes can be held in rainy/cloudy weather if participants wish. However if there are thunderstorms or dangerous surf conditions, all lessons must be rescheduled.
