RETREAT INFO: Ericeira, just 30-40 minutes north of Lisbon, is one of the world’s top surfing destinations and a world surfing preserve. There’s fun beginner surf spots like Praia do Sol, Intermediate level reef breaks like Ribeira d’Ilhas, pro level breaks like Crazy Lefts, a cool skatepark and fun parties every weekend at the Quiksilver Boardriders Club. You’re GUARANTEED to score fun waves in November in Ericeira since it’s prime season. Not to mention Portugal has some of the best seafood in the world! SurfsUpNY instructors will coach a 2-hour session everyday and take videos from the water to help you improve. This will be geared towards advanced beginner or intermediate level surfers looking to catch green waves and turn down the line. Peter Shaw & Sean O’Connor have spent the last 5 winters surfing here and dialing in the best surf spots in the area. We’ll partner with local pro surf coaches as well. We’ll be staying walking distance from the waves, and we’ll have a car to shuttle you to/from different surfing breaks. We have a jet ski and there will be an option to take a jet ski tour of the world’s biggest waves at Nazare from a safe distance!
